PROFILE

Hello! I'm Claudia Wigger. I am a Detroit-based designer and educator with almost twenty years of professional design experience in commercial and residential construction.

In 2008 I co-founded ICE—ideas for contemporary environments, an architectural practice based in Detroit, Hong Kong, and Berlin. ICE’s design work has been featured in various international design publications, exhibitions, and digital media.

From 2001 to 2008, I gained architecture experience through collaborations and international consulting, such as Foster and Partners, Sauerbruch Hutton, ROBERTNEUN all in Berlin; RAD in Hong Kong; and Hamilton Anderson Associates in Detroit.

In addition to client-based design work, I am also a Lecturer in Architecture at University of Michigan's Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning.
